Privacy Policy

The short version

CalcWren is a static website. Every tool — calculators, converters and generators — runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The numbers you type and the files you open are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers or to anyone else. You can verify this yourself: load a tool, disconnect from the internet, and it keeps working.

What we collect

Nothing, by design:

• No accounts. There is no sign-up, login, or user profile of any kind.
• No tool input. Amounts, campaign figures, statement files and any other data you enter stay in the page's memory in your browser tab and are discarded when you close it.
• No files. File-converter tools (such as the bank statement converters) parse documents locally with in-browser libraries. Files never leave your device.
• No analytics. We do not currently run any analytics or tracking scripts (no Google Analytics or similar).
• No cookies. The site sets no cookies of its own today.

Hosting and server logs

Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) processes standard technical request data — such as IP address, browser user-agent and requested URL — to deliver pages and protect the service. These logs are handled under Cloudflare's own privacy terms and are not used by us to identify or profile visitors.

Future third-party advertising

We may introduce third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future to keep the tools free. If we do, those ad networks will use cookies and similar technologies to serve and personalise ads, and may collect information about your visits to this and other websites. That would be a change from how the site works today, and this policy will be updated before any advertising goes live.

You can control how Google uses your information for advertising at any time via Google's Ads Settings and learn more in Google's advertising privacy documentation. You can also opt out of personalised advertising from many vendors at aboutads.info/choices.

Data retention

Because we collect no personal data through the tools, there is nothing to retain, delete or export. Closing the browser tab removes everything you entered.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data — for example by enabling analytics or advertising — we will update this page and the "last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
